Tanner Smith
Tanner Smith is a graduate from Southern Oregon University with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in
Digital
Cinema. Growing up, his free time was spent outdoors adventuring in both the water and on land.
As
he grew older he began to recognize an unhappiness that stemmed from an imbalance between
consumption and creation, prompting his passion for filmmaking.
“Filmmaking has allowed me to continue to adventure but with the end goal of creating. I have
always
been drawn to the emotions and empathy that well-crafted films can provoke in an audience.
Whether
the goal is engagement or enlightenment, I strive to bring the same level of connection in my
own
films.”
